Md Ashraful Haque, project director for Ghorashal Power Plant Unit-6, died of a cardiac arrest on Sunday night. He was 56.

He left behind his wife and three daughters, said a press release.

He was buried in the capital's Azimpur graveyard following his namaz-e-janaza at WAPDA Bhaban after Zohr prayers.

Bangladesh Power Development Board Chairman KM Hasan has condoled the death.
