Obituary

Eminent academician and writer Prof Mohammad Abdus Shakur died of old age complications in Mymensingh's Kanchijuly Siddique Master Road area on Sunday night.

He was 89.

He left behind three sons and four daughters.

He will be buried at the town's Gulkibari graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza at Eidgah ground after Asr prayers today.
