Obituary

Abdul Gaffar Dubash, director of Prime Insurance Company Ltd, died on Friday, said a press release.

He was also the vice-chairman of the company in 2013 and 2014, chairman of Orbit Pharmaceuticals Ltd, managing director of Saracen International Ltd and independent director of Confidence Cement Ltd.

He served as the governor of Lions Club International, District-315, chairman of Chittagong Lions Foundations and vice-chairman of Bangladesh Master Stevedore Association.

He was a permanent member of Chittagong Club Ltd, Chittagong Senior Club Ltd and Chittagong Boat Club Ltd.
