Language Movement veteran Mahbubar Rahman Dulu died of old-age complications at his Nil Protiva Para residence in Nilphamari town yesterday. He was 78.

He was also an advocate, and a prominent face in the cultural arena of the district being a composer of many patriotic songs, poems, and plays. He was buried in circuit house graveyard.
