One held over Habib murder

Police arrested an accused in a case, filed for killing Kazi Habib, in Sultanpur of Sadar upazila in Moulvibazar early yesterday.

Abdus Salek, officer-in-charge of Moulvibazar Police Station, said Nahid Hasan was held in his residence.

Habib, 22, a BBA 4th year student of Sylhet International University and a Bangladesh Chhatra League activist, was murdered allegedly by his fellows on the campus in the city on January 19.
