Road crashes kill two

Two pedestrians died in road accidents in the country yesterday.

Our Bogra correspondent reports, an unidentified man died after a pick-up van hit him at Charmatha on Rangpur-Dhaka highway in Bogra town.

Police detained the driver, Abdul Hamid, and his helper Masud. The body was sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Our Chapainawabganj correspondent adds, Choitanya Chandra, 25, son of Nukul Chandra of Nachole upazila, died after a bus hit him at Muslimpur in the upazila.
