SKS distributes stipends among children of former army personnel

Sena Kalyan Sangstha (SKS), a welfare organisation of Bangladesh Army, distributed stipend among 299 children of former army personnel at Dhaka Cantonment yesterday.

The recipients -- higher secondary students -- received the cheques of the stipend from SKS Chairman Maj Gen Zahidur Rahman at a programme at Adamjee Cantonment College.

At the event, Brig Gen Omar Faruque, director general (welfare) of SKS, and Brig Gen Tamim Ahmad Chowdhury, principal of Adamjee College, were present.
