Youth's body found in Gazipur

Police recovered the body of a youth from a paddy field in Fanirtek area of Gazipur Sadar yesterday.

The deceased was Noyon, 19, of Mymensingh. His body bore several hacking marks, said police.

Hearing a commotion, locals rushed there and found the body. Police however could not ascertain the reason behind the murder.

The body was sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
