I agree with you but under the present rule, I do not think media can go for harsh criticism of the ruling party. It is believed by many that half of this violence is committed by the ruling party goons.

Despite their controversial acts and violent nature which is clearly witnessed by all, why BNP continues to support Jamaat is a big question. That's the main reason why BNP is not receiving support from the people.
