Nationwide shutdown: Banking hours extended by 1 hour

Transaction hours at all commercial banks have been extended by one hour -- up to 1pm – during the ongoing nationwide closure.  

A circular was issued by Bangladesh Bank today.

The banks will have to be closed by 3pm.

Earlier, the transaction hour at the banks was from 10am to 12pm.
