2 abducted coal traders rescued in Bagerhat

Two coal traders who were abducted from Sunamganj three days ago rescued from Morrelganj upazila of Bagerhat early today.

Three alleged abductors have been arrested in this connection, our Bagerhat correspondent reports quoting police.

The abductors are: Tuhin Shikdar, 22, Parvez Haldar, 25, and Ashgar Ali, residents of Pirojpur district.

Two coal traders -- Nurul Alam, 37, and Muslim Mia of Sunamganj -- were given primary treatment after they were rescued from the Panguchi river bank, said Mahfuz Afzal, additional superintendent of police in Bagerhat.
