2 missing in boat capsize

Two people went missing as an engine-run boat capsized at Chakuria Haor in Ashtogram upazila of the district yesterday morning. The victims are Aftab, 28, and Sohel, 30. Officer-in-Charge of Ashtogram Police Station Qamrul Islam Molla said the boat carrying about 100 passengers, including Aftab and Sohel, sank in the haor while it was going to Kuliar Char upazila from Ashtogram around 9:00am. The duo went missing after the incident while others managed to swim ashore.
