4 arrested with firearm

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested four men with a shot gun and seven bullets from a residential hotel in the district town yesterday. The arrestees are Sabbir Mahmud, 35, son of SM Mahbub Chowdhury of Adabar, Sabuj, 30, son of Somir Uddin of Agargaon, Babu Mia, 30, son of Safiuddin of Ashulia in Dhaka, and Uzzal, 31, son of Samsuddin Sheikh of Madaripur district. Police said the four men came from Dhaka and took shelter at Al-Soud Hotel in the town on Monday night.
