4 of a family suffer burn injuries in AC blast

Four members of a family suffered burn injuries after an air conditioner (AC) reportedly exploded at their house in Kathalbagan area of Dhaka today.

The four, with burns ranging from 7 to 50 per cent, were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 6:30am, Partha Sankar Pal, resident surgeon of the burn unit told The Daily Star.

The injured were identified as Liton, 35, his wife Champa, 30, and their children Layeeba, 12, and son Limon, 9, the official said.

Further details about the incident could not be known yet.
