UP chairman suspended

A union parishad chairman in Nawabganj upazila was suspended as a court accepted the charge sheet in a case filed against him for election related violence in January 2014. The chairman is Md Ahsanul Kabir Shamim of Bhaduria UP. The court accepted the charge sheet in December last year. The local government ministry suspended him through a letter issued on September 29.
