Fake NSI officer held

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a fake National Security Intelligence (NSI) officer from Titpolla bus stand area in Sadar upazila of the district on Sunday. The arrestee is Abul Khayer Badol, 32, son of Gias Uddin of Baniabari village in Melandah upazila. Superintendent of Police Nizam Uddin said Badol introducing himself as NSI officer has been cheating people in the area for a month. On information, police arrested him on Sunday night. A case was filed in this connection.
