HSC examinee commits 'suicide'

Failing in the HSC examinations, a girl allegedly committed suicide by taking poison at Gouripur village in Sadar upazila of the district on Sunday. Police and family sources said Jafrin Khatun, 18, daughter of Khademul Islam of the village, took poison at her room after she came to know her result around 3:00pm. She later died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital. Jafrin sat for HSC examinations this year from humanities group from Thakurgaon Government Women's College under Dinajpur education board.
