Robbers loot house

Robbers looted cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth around Tk 3 lakh from a house in Phulbari upazila of the district early yesterday. House owner Md Moeenuddin said a gang of 20 stormed into the house around 2:00am and held his only son Miraj hostage at gunpoint. The robbers then took away Tk 8,000, 30 grams of gold, a motorbike and a laptop.
