Teenage rickshaw-puller killed in Sylhet, 2 held

A teenage rickshaw-puller has been killed in Daldali Tea Garden area of Sylhet Sadar, police said.

The law enforcers arrested two persons in connection with the murder, our local correspondent reports.

Deceased Naim Ahmed, 15, was son of Abbas Ahmed of Beanibazar upazila in Sylhet and a resident of Hazaribag area in the city.

“Naim was missing since yesterday and his father filed a general diary with the local police station last night,” said Shahadat Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sylhet Airport Police Station.

The two arrestees -- Abdur Rukon, 21, and Parvez, 20, confessed to the crime, the police official said.

On the basis of their information, police recovered the body from the tea garden today.
