Twins drown in pond

Twin brothers drowned in a pond at Gordighi village in Sadar upazila on Wednesday noon.

The deceased were identified as Yasin, 2, and Yakub, 2, sons of Modhu Mia of the village.

Chairman of Ramchandra Union Parishad Rafiqul Islam said the twins slipped into the pond while they were playing on its bank around 12.30pm.
