‘Eta Amaderi Golpo’ to wrap up with 90-minute mega finale
The popular television drama “Eta Amaderi Golpo”, directed by Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, is nearing its conclusion, leaving audiences deeply emotional. The series will wrap up after a total of 52 episodes, with 48 already aired.
Director Raz has confirmed that the final instalment will be a special mega episode. Since the beginning, each episode has run for approximately 25 minutes. Although viewers had requested longer episodes, this was not feasible due to fixed television scheduling and sponsorship constraints.
Addressing this, Raz said the much-anticipated finale aims to fulfil audience expectations. The concluding episode will run for over an hour and a half, offering an extended and complete resolution to the story.
At a time when many have criticised family dramas for losing emotional depth and relational complexity, this Channel i production has managed to challenge that notion. With its focus on familial bonds, emotional warmth and relatable storytelling, the drama has carved out a distinct place among viewers.
“Eta Amaderi Golpo” began airing on Channel i on November 5 last year, broadcast every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30 pm. In addition to television, each episode has also been released on Cinemawala’s YouTube channel, gaining widespread popularity across both platforms.
The cast includes Irfan Sajjad, Keya Payel, Khairul Basar, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Intekhab Dinar, Deepa Khandakar, Monira Akhter Mithu, Nader Chowdhury, and Shilpi Sarkar Apu among others.
