Viral video shows James teaching son to play drums

A heartwarming family video of popular band icon James, widely known as Nagar Baul, has gone viral on social media, showing the musician teaching his young son Jibran Anam how to play the drums.

In the video, recorded on a practice pad, James is seen guiding his son through the basics of drumming. He demonstrates how to hold the drumsticks, control movement, and maintain rhythm. Sitting beside him, Jibran attentively follows his father’s instructions, engaging with the instrument in a playful manner.

James had revealed news of his marriage and fatherhood on October 22 last year. In 2024, he married Namia Amin, a US citizen of Bangladeshi origin, who later adopted the surname Anam.

The couple welcomed their son, Jibran Anam, on June 8, 2025, at Huntington Hospital in New York.
