Hundreds of Muslims gathered in New York’s Times Square on Friday (US time) to break their fast and perform Taraweeh prayers in the heart of the city.
The annual event, organised by Wayoflifesq, saw the distribution of around 1,500 meals and 1,200 Qurans in multiple languages.
