Actors Alia Bhatt and Ashutosh Gowariker unveiled the poster and creative vision for the 57th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) at the Bharat Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival.

Held alongside the international film market at Cannes, the event also saw the launch of the India Film Guide, a resource aimed at encouraging international collaborations and promoting India as a global filming destination.

Speaking at the event, Alia Bhatt said IFFI has long celebrated the diversity of Indian storytelling.

“IFFI has always been a platform that celebrates the diversity of our stories. Being part of this unveiling is an honour, as we invite the world to experience the magic of Indian filmmaking in Goa this November,” she said.

Ashutosh Gowariker highlighted the festival’s role in encouraging cinematic exchange and global engagement.

“The 57th edition promises to be a landmark year. We are looking at a selection that not only showcases technical excellence but also the profound human emotions that connect us all,” he said.

The Bharat Pavilion, organised by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), continues to promote Indian filmmakers and talent at major international film festivals.

The 57th edition of IFFI is scheduled to take place in Panaji, Goa, from November 20 to 28, 2026.

The newly unveiled poster features a stylised peacock, a long-standing symbol associated with the festival.
