Bangladesh to get early release of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’
Bangladeshi audiences will get to watch “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” ahead of its worldwide release, with Star Cineplex confirming that the latest instalment in the superhero franchise will hit its screens on July 30, a day before its global theatrical debut.
Star Cineplex announced the release date on Monday, making Bangladesh one of the first markets to screen the highly anticipated Marvel film.
The film marks the 38th instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the fourth Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film sees Holland reprise his role as the web-slinging superhero, alongside returning cast members Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. Mark Ruffalo is also set to return as Bruce Banner/Hulk.
The sequel also introduces several new faces to the franchise. Iman Esfandi joins the cast as MJ’s new love interest, while “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink takes on a mysterious role that has already fuelled speculation among fans.
Set four years after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, the film follows Peter Parker as he navigates a new life after the world forgets his identity. As he begins again, Peter finds himself facing fresh challenges and formidable new enemies.
