Just a day after its premiere last Friday, the romantic psycho-thriller was pulled to make way for Shihab Shaheen's romantic drama “Chuye Dile Mon”.

The statement presented arguments in support of this demand, signed by filmmakers, producers, cinematographers, editors, sound designers, film critics, researchers, teachers, film workers and organizers, actors, musicians, and photographers.

Four years ago, Nuhash Humayun announced his debut feature film, “Moving Bangladesh”. Initially, the project struggled to find producers but later received funding from several international festivals. The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) also expressed interest in supporting the film. However, the ministry has now canceled its allocation of Tk 50 lakh for the project.  

Directed by Kiran Rao, the rural comedy-drama has raked in 50 million yen (approximately Rs 2.75 crore) in 45 days at the Japanese box office.
