Following its Eid release, “Domm” has drawn strong audiences at cineplexes and multiplexes across the country. The film is now set to expand its reach, with a nationwide release in single-screen theatres from Friday (April 24).

Production houses SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited and Chorki confirmed that the Redoan Rony directorial will be screened in more than 50 theatres across Bangladesh from April 24, making it more accessible to general audiences.

Producer Shahriar Shakil earlier noted that the film was initially limited to multiplexes to minimise piracy risks. As audience demand grew, plans were made for a wider release.

“Viewers who have been waiting to watch the film will not be disappointed,” he said, adding that the film’s visuals and true-story-based narrative offer a fresh cinematic experience.

Director Redoan Rony described “Domm” as a story of resilience and national pride, expressing satisfaction at the audience response so far.

The film has also performed strongly overseas, with releases in Australia, the United States, and Canada. In North America, the number of theatres screening the film increased significantly within a week due to audience demand.

“Domm” stars Afran Nisho, Puja Chery, Chanchal Chowdhury, Abul Hayat, and Dolly Zahur, among others. The film is based on the life story of Noor Islam, who recently watched the film and praised its quality and performances.
