Noted musician Maqsoodul Haque, from the band Maqsood O Dhaka, lent his voice to a new song "Shatey-Panchey" composed by renowned music director and lyricist Prince Mahmud.

The last collaboration between Prince and Maqsood took place over 26 years ago—when the album "Khawma" was released in 1996. The album was a compilation of tracks from different bands and is still considered as the 'best-mixed' band album of the 90s.

Maqsood sang the track "Keno Mon Niye Eto Dao Jontrona" for the album. A few days back, this song was shared from Prince Mahmud's social media account, which made many fans nostalgic.

Seeing the response from fans inspired Prince to start planning this collaboration with Maqsood.

Composed by Prince Mahmud, the song is arranged by Sajid Sarker. Lyrics for the song have been written by Samuel Haque, while the music video is directed by Nazmus Sadat Nayeem.

Under the banner of G-series, the song will be released during Eid-ul-Adha.
