International Mother Language Day specials on television today

Today marks International Mother Language Day and Martyrs Day. Observing the day several satellite channels will be airing tele-fictions, movies, and musical programmes.

A programme based on language, patriotism, and poems, titled, "Agun Ronger Diney", will be aired at 6:30 pm on Banglavision.

Abu Hayat Mahmud directorial fiction, "Dolchhut" will be televised on Rtv, at 8 pm. Written by Pantha Shahriar, it stars Sabila Nur and Khairul Basar among others.

Special telefiction "Gohiner Alo" starring Abul Hayat, F S Nayeem, and Nazia Haque Orsha among others will be aired at 9:30 pm on Ntv. Moni Haider wrote the script, while the director Hasan Rezaul apart from directing the project also handled the screenplay.

Channel i will air the Tauquir Ahmed directorial film "Fagun Haway", at 7:50 pm today. Based on the Language Movement, the film stars Siam Ahmed, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, and Abul Hayat among others.

"Bornomalar Michhil", written and directed by Simanto Sajal stars Tariq Anam Khan, Rawnak Hasan, and Moutushi Biswas among others. It will be televised on Maasranga Television at 10:30 pm.

At 9 pm Nagorik TV will air the Ekushey special fiction, "Khoka Phirbe". The project is written by Nabin Hossain and directed by Iftekhar Rumon. It stars Rawnak Hasan and Mousumi Mou.
