Jyotirmoyee Kundu arrives in Dhaka celebrating ‘Prince’ release

Indian actress Jyotirmoyee Kundu has arrived in Dhaka to celebrate the release of her debut Bangladeshi film “Prince”, in which she stars opposite Shakib Khan.

Kundu reached the capital on March 26 and soon visited Bashundhara Star Cineplex, where she watched the film alongside audiences. As part of her promotional tour, she later visited Sony Square Cineplex, drawing attention with her appearance in a maroon saree.

Speaking to journalists, the actress said she was excited to experience the film with viewers for the first time. She also shared plans to explore Dhaka and try the city’s famous Kacchi Biryani, which she has heard much about.

Kundu began her acting career in 2024 with the television series “Bodhua”, quickly gaining recognition. She later appeared opposite Dev in “Projapoti 2” in 2025.

With “Prince”, she marks her entry into Bangladeshi cinema, joining one of the country’s biggest stars on screen.
