Arts & Entertainment Desk

While audiences have long embraced the action-packed image of Shakib Khan, his upcoming film “Prince” is set to showcase a softer, more romantic side of the superstar. The film’s first song, “Pori,” introduces viewers to this refreshing transformation.

In the song, Shakib Khan appears in a regal new look alongside Indian actress Jyotirmoyee Kundu. The 3-minute-30-second track unfolds like a series of vivid visual canvases, with the actor sporting long hair, earrings, and a multicolored embroidered jacket—marking a striking departure from his usual style.

Jyotirmoyee Kundu complements him with a captivating presence, dressed in blue and red sarees. Their chemistry, set against sweeping desert landscapes, has already drawn attention from viewers. The visuals shift from royal palace settings atop to scenes among camel caravans, evoking a rich Rajasthani ambiance.

“Pori” is sung by popular duo Imran Mahmudul and Somnur Monir Konal. Penned by Robiul Islam Jibon, the song’s composition and music direction have been handled by Imran himself. Each line reflects a deep, emotional yearning for love.

Produced by Creative Land Films, “Prince” is directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud. The film marks the first on-screen pairing of Shakib Khan and Jyotirmoyee Kundu.
