Panam in ruins

The government declared Panam Nagar an archeologically protected site in 2003 but it is yet to take any initiative for conservation of the century-old 52 buildings in Sonargaon of Narayanganj. Known as Haveli Sonargaon at the height of its glory, Panam has now crumbling relics of old buildings made of small bricks.
