2 Covid-19 deaths recorded after 3 days

At least 108 new infections were recorded and two persons died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Total number of Covid-19 deaths reached 29,114 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.

The current positivity rate is 1.16 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.24 percent.

Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,50,465, added the release.

A total of 9,279 samples were tested across the country during this period.

At least 1,459 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,68,620 and the recovery rate at 95.80 percent, added the release.

Of the deceased, one was male and one was female.

Of them, one was between 0-10 years old and the other was over 100 years old, added the releasew.
