3 Covid-19 deaths, 82 cases recorded in 24 hours

At least 82 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Three deaths were reported during this period.

Total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains 29,117 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.

The current positivity rate is 0.90 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.22 percent.

Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,50,609, added the release.

A total of 9,082 samples were tested across the country during this period.

At least 837 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,70,471 and the recovery rate at 95.89 percent, added the release.
