One dies of dengue, 473 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least one dengue patient died while 473 others were hospitalised, highest in a single day this year, in the last 24 hours till 8:00am today.

The lone death was reported in Dhaka South, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths this year rose to 34 and cases 10,485.

Currently 1,011 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
