Human chain demanding road safety

A human chain was formed on the premises of Manikganj Press Club yesterday demanding road safety and 'guarantee of natural death'. People from all walks of life, including students, teachers, lawyers, journalists and sportsmen joined the programme organised by Cricket Sports Association to remember cricketer Sohel Rana who was killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Aricha highway on Thursday. Addressing a rally at the venue, the speakers urged the authorities concerned to immediately build road dividers at Muljan, Joka-Pukuria, Jagir, Golora points on the Dhaka-Aricha highway where most of the accidents occur.
