Criminals in Pabna destroy idols at two temples

Criminals damaged nine idols at two temples in Bera upazila of Pabna district at midnight on Thursday. Police and locals said criminals damaged seven idols at Bhabanipur Mondir at Bhanipur village and two idols a Hari Mondir at Ratanganj village on the night. As the incidents came to local Hindus Friday morning, they filed two separate cases with Bera Police Station. After filing of the cases, Police arrested two suspected criminals--Mirajul Islam and Abdul Hannan--at Bhabanipur village on the night. Hearing the incidents, Pabna police Superintendent and other officials visited the spot.
