Criminals loot Tk 2 lakh

Criminals on Saturday injured three people and looted Tk 2 lakh from them at Bagadi village in Araihajar upazila. Sources said, a gang hit Elias, son of power loom factory owner Abdur Rob Mia, his uncle Jewel and nephew Rimon with sharp weapons and looted Tk 2 lakh from them at noon. A motorbike used by the victims was also damaged by the attackers. The three were returning along with the money to their house at Shirbasdi in the upazila from nearby Kalibari area. Police later arrested one Sajoar in connection with the incident.
