Farmer abducted

Criminals on Sunday night kidnapped a farmer in Shailkupa. Atul Molla, 30, was son of Rahim Molla of Janglia village of the upazila. Police said, Atul was returning home with Sayem from Kacherkol Bazar. When they reached near Kacherkol college, an armed gang intercepted them at gun point. Sayem managed to flee but the criminals abducted Atul and sped towards Kushtia. Police made several drives at night but could not rescue him.
