Human rights violation!

There have been some reports in the daily newspapers that the US House of Representatives has expressed concern over human rights violations in Bangladesh and is said to have requested their country's foreign office to investigate the violations. They have also requested the US President to take punitive actions against Bangladesh. While the US is grossly violating human rights in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine where people are dying like cats and dogs, the House of Representatives does not find any human rights violation there. How can they find human rights violation in Bangladesh? The present CTG is apprehending the criminals who have plundered the country while they were in power. This country needs cleansing of corruption for the sake of democracy. Whatever may be the status of a corrupt person, he or she should be put to trial. Their demand for open trial is OK, but they must accept that people are equal in the eyes of law. Let it be practised in reality. This government is not arresting anyone without any proof of his/her involvement in corruption.
