ACC charge sheet against two former principals

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) filed charge sheet against two former principals of Barisal BM College and a BCL leader for 'misappropriating fund' of college magazine publication. Md Nazrul Islam, assistant director of Barisal ACC, submitted the charge sheet to Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court on Monday afternoon. The charge sheeted accused are Prof Yusuf Ali and A B M Shahjahan Mallik, former principals of B M College and Ziaur Rahman Biplob, BCL leader and magazine secretary of the college students' union. Court sources said, in the charge sheet it was alleged that the accused while bringing out college magazine in 2001 misappropriated Tk 1.74 lakh from the fund. Earlier, the ACC lodged a case with Kowatali police station against five on March 31, 2009.
