Show cause on 7 professors of Dinajpur Medical College

Dinajpur Medical College authorities yesterday served fresh show cause notices to seven professors of the college for remaining absent from duty for long. The college authorities also asked them to join their respective duties without further delay. Contacted, Prof Dr Hamidul Haque Khandkar, principal of Dinajpur Medical College admitted the matter. Sources said, the college authorities earlier about four months ago had served notices to the seven professors requesting them to join their respective workplaces. The notices urged them to immediately discharge their duties including teaching but there were no response from them. Sources said, the seven professors are drawing the monthly salaries while working at private organisations in Dhaka. The seven processors are Dr Md Shafiullah, Dr Md Durul Huda, Dr Md Nasir Uddin, Dr Abu Zafar Sadeque, Dr Md Abdur Rashid, Dr. Sajed Abdul Khaled and Dr Md Zinnurain.
