Jubo League leader killed
A Jubo League leader was murdered at Tajpur in Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj district yesterday.
The dead, Jamir Ali,40, was a leader of Jubo League Chhatak upazila unit. Family sources said, Jamir went out of his house on Sunday noon and remained missing since then.
Locals found the body at Tajpur on Chhatak-Gobindganj road yesterday morning.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar hospital morgue. The motive behind the killing could not be known.
