Outlaw held, arms recovered

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Friday night arrested a hardened member of outlawed PBCP (Purba Banglar Communist Party) ML faction Janajudhho from village Shimulachara. The elite force also recovered a shutter gun and two bullets from the spot. The arrestee is Md. Abdus Sattar (30) son of Niamat Ali of village Kaizuri in Ataikula thana in Pabna. Acting on a tip off, Rab-12 raided Shimulchari Primary School area at about 9.30pm on Friday where the criminals were holding a secret meeting. When the law enforcers reached the spot the criminals tried to flee the scene. However, Rab arrested Sattar but others managed to make good. Law enforcers said, Sattar was accused in several cases including murder, looting and robbery.
