6 injured in Bagerhat clashes

Six people were injured in two separate clashes at Dema Kalia and Alokdia villages in Sadar upazila on Monday and Tuesday. Hospital sources said, two groups of villagers locked in an altercation over a trifling matter and attacked each other leaving four people injured from the both sides at Alokdia village in the upazila on Tuesday morning. Earlier, in another clash on Monday evening, two women were injured when their rivals attacked on them following a land dispute at Dema Kalia village. The injured were admitted to Sadar hospital.
