Tree plantation

The total population of Dhaka city is more than 1.6 crore. Majority of the people are working in different offices, mills, factories, hotels, doing business etc. for their livelihood. The city has huge numbers of industries, mills, factories etc. Numbers of such different commercial organisations are increasing day by day. Government approved rules are not at all followed in establishing these commercial organisations. Presently, the city is under severe pressure of massive population. Greenhouse gases viz. CO2, SO2, NO2 etc. emission are frequent. Long term measures must be taken to bring down the temperature to an endurable level. It is scientifically explained that tree is the only medium through which gaseous CO2 can be reduced significantly. The more plantations are done, the more CO2 will be reduced from nature. Therefore, the necessity of tree plantation cannot be overemphasised. Dr. Md.
