Commenting on the dead
The Almighty has verily declared in the Holy Quran that all living beings shall have the taste of death.
Those of us who have passed away shall never return and they are not capable of defending themselves against allegations. As such Allah has also mentioned in His holy book that those who humiliate the dead shall be put to shame on the day of final judgment. Hence we should not for our own good humiliate the dead who have already left us.
All our national leaders played their due role during their lifetime, once dead they are incapable of doing anything, even defending themselves against allegations. That is why Allah has direly warned the living not to humiliate the dead. If we do not honour the dead, while we are gone, the living shall also humiliate us as this is what they are being taught.
The recent activities of our national leaders make me wonder, are they all devoid of religious teachings? If not then how can they insult the dead? We all will have to account for our deeds on the day of final judgment before the Almighty and there shall be none to defend us besides our good deeds. Let us all refrain from desecrating the dead.
