<i>Bangladeshi surgeon's paper on modern trauma management acclaimed</i>
A Bangladeshi orthopaedic surgeon's paper on modern trauma management was highly acclaimed at the annual conference of the British Trauma Society that concluded in Nottingham, United Kingdom (UK) recently.
As a member of the British Trauma Society, Dr Md Hasan Masud of the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital was invited to deliver a presentation. Over 400 surgeons from many countries around the world assembled there.
Dr Masud's current interests are in joint replacement, arthroscopy and trauma. The papers covered broad spectrum of injuries and their consequences, which reflects the nature of trauma care.
