If you cannot hit a Cobra on its head, do not tickle its tail, so goes a saying. Israel has flouted international opinion with total impunity ever since its occupation of Arab land following the 1967 war.
The USA and Europe want Israel to stay where it is now & expand to serve worldwide strategy of the Western powers. There will be no compromise on that point.
Jews consider themselves the chosen people of God and Jerusalem is the sacred land for the Jews only. Israel gives a damn about any military power in the world including the USA. Netanyahu does not have time for US President and has refused to stop new settlements in spite of several requests from Barak Obama.
The hue & cry raised over raid of the Gaza-aid flotilla by Israeli commandos will soon die down and end up in empty slogans without any change in the land-air-sea blockade of Gaza.
The solution lies in accepting the existence of Israel by the Palestinians including Hamas. Arab & other Muslim countries pulling strings should stop doing so and let the population in Gaza & West Bank come to terms with the reality.
The other solution is to remove the entire 1.5 million Gaza population to the vast land of the USA, Europe & Australia.
