There are many unsafe buildings in Dhaka city. Most of them are situated in densely populated old town. Once upon a time, the old town was the centre of Dhaka city. Many inhabitants of Dhaka are continuing to stay in the same place. The Nimtoli tragedy should be an eye opener.
